Of the Earth clothing is a blend of fashion, function and durability. The collection is simple, functional and suitable to the adventure at hand. Of the Earth believes in organic sustainable agriculture, enhancing biodiversity, protecting forests, rivers lakes and oceans as well as seeking alternative energy solutions. Everything is interconnected and actions speak louder than words. OTE believes we can make a positive change for future generations.

Of the Earth was born from the desire to be clothed in natural fibers and to help make a difference on this beautiful and magnificent planet. Armed with the knowledge that ten percent of all agricultural chemicals in the United States are used to produce conventional cotton, OTE decided to investigate the alternatives. Over the past ten years OTE has explored hemp, ramie, silk, wool and organic cotton as a solution. In current years OTE has been developing fabric blends with tencel, soya, bamboo, yak, camel, cashmere and recycled fibers. OTE is also in the process of organic certification for all farms that grow fiber for out collection. In these ten years OTE has helped pioneer the hemp industry by spending a great deal of time and energy developing processing techniques for preparing raw hemp stalks int finer yarns and new fabrics. The results have been rewarding as has been the process.

Of the Earth donates 10% of annual net profits to the Of the Earth Foundation™ (est. 2002). The Foundation will help fund other non-profit and grass root organizations that are action oriented, helping build public involvement and support as well as accomplishing specific goals.
